The Original Ceylon Tea Company Announces New Retail Support Program
DALLAS, TX—The Original Ceylon Tea Company has implemented a new Retail Support Program to introduce its tea to consumers and help retailer partners drive traffic to their stores.
The program uses direct mailing of custom-created postcards that feature store logo (see below), the company’s tea, and an invitation for consumers to visit participating stores. The complete cost for the postcard design, printing and mailing is borne by The Original Ceylon Tea Company; the participating retailer provides the mailing list to the company’s bonded, third-party mailing house for processing.
“We’re always trying to think out-of-the-box to find ways we can partner with retailers to make things happen,” says Kit Riley, president of The Original Ceylon Tea Company. “The pilot program has been very effective for our retail partners and for us, so we want to replicate that success in new markets.”
